Transylvania Bike Trails Race

Discover one of Europe’s most important natural landscapes by bike

Go cycling on Transylvania Bike Trails, a network of 100 km of bike trails crossing flower-rich meadows and extensive forests and linking 8 unspoiled villages and fortified churches (Viscri, Buneşti, Criț, Meşendorf, Cloaşterf, Saschiz, Archita & Daia) with the medieval town of Sighișoara. The trails range in difficulty from light, family suitable to medium and have information panels on flora and fauna.

The Criț-Meşendorf trail is the first of its kind in Romania and can be used in any weather conditions, due to the gravel surface (length 7,5 km, ascent 235 m, descent 144 m, average slope 5,7%, maximum slope 16%).

You can find a GPS map for the Meșendorf – Viscri – Bunești – Criț bike trail here. Please let us know if you need to rent bikes.
